PARKING SERVICES
DECALS and PERMITS:

Students, Faculty and Staff may register their vehicles
online via
http://gulfline.fgcu.edu.
Decals and Permits can be obtained at the Parking Services
office.

Decal and Permit Fraud is a Serious offense and
results in a fine of $100.00. The offense includes
but is not limited to:
-
Falsifying information when registering your vehicle in
order to receive a permit.

Using a Decal or permit that was not issued to you.
-
Creating duplicate Decals or permits.

At the top of the page are two links that read:
Renew Parking Permit
– choose this link if you will be using the same
vehicle you registered with us last year
Request a Parking Permit for a New Vehicle
- choose this link if you will be using a different
vehicle than what you registered last year, or
if any of your vehicles information has
changed (i.e. license plate number).

Select the year for the decal or permit (i.e. if
classes begin Fall 2007, the decal or permit year to
select is 2008). Decals and permits are issued
yearly with the expiration date of August 31st.

For permit type, you will only be choosing between
General/Commuter or Student Housing Decal
from the drop down menu.

Decals and Permits can be obtained at the Parking
Services Division office.

FACULTY/STAFF: How to Register Your Vehicle/Renew
Permit:

Choose the Employee link.

Click Parking Services
-

For Permit Type, choose the appropriate payment
option from the drop down menu.

Finalize payment and obtain the permit from the
Parking Services Division office.

VISITORS
-
Visitors to the university must obtain a pass
from the information booth located at the main
entrance of FGCU, if the information booth is closed
go to the University Police Department at the campus
support complex to obtain a permit.

Visitors may obtain a pass without cost to park on
campus.
PROPERLY DISPLAYING DECALS & PERMITS:
-
The hanging permits distributed to Faculty/Staff and
Commuter Students must be hung from the rearview mirror, or
otherwise displayed in the windshield, with the permit
number facing outward, so that it may be read from the front
of the car.

Decals are distributed to Student Housing residents and must
be fully affixed from the inside, mid-way down the driver’s
corner of the front windshield

If it is NOT fully affixed to the windshield you will be
cited for improper placement of the permit.

Visitor permits must be hung from the rearview mirror, or
otherwise displayed on the dashboard with the permit number
facing outward.
PARKING DECAL & PERMIT FEES:

Student decal and permit costs are included in the per
credit hour tuition.

Faculty/Staff members may pay $40 a term, $100 for annual or
$450 if a reserved parking space (if availible).

Lost or stolen decals or permits will not be replaced and
the registrant will be required to purchase a new decal or
permit at a fee of $105 for faculty/staff reserved space
parking or a fee of $30 for all other parking permits.

Payment options for Faculty/Staff members
-
Payroll Reduction
Register vehicle/Renew permit on Gulfline. Print
out vehicle registration form following instruction
at bottom of form. Obtain and complete a payroll
reduction form. Send both through inter-office mail
to the Parking Services office. Your parking permit
will be sent back in the same fashion. This option
is available only during the Fall Term.

Cash or check
payments are available at Parking Services located
in the north-end of the Campus Support Complex.
Cash, check, or credit card
payments are received by the cashier, ground-floor windows
located at McTarnaghan Hall. You must then bring your receipt to
Parking Services located in the north-end of the Campus Support
Complex to receive your decal or permit. |
