2007 "Get out of Parking Tickets Free" Cards:
 
Cards are issued to students  for voting for Student Government Representatives during the spring.

The 2007 "Get Out of Parking Tickets free" have the following rules and restrictions.

  • Expire on date located on the front of the card.
  • Use restricted to FGCU parking citations.
  • Cannot be used on denied or adjusted appeals.
  • Cannot be used for handicap, reserved or fire lane violations.
  • Must be used within 10 days of citation date.
  • The University Police and Safety Department has the right to refuse cards.
  • Cards are non-transferable.
  • Other rules and exclusions may apply.

Overview of Parking Regulations :

  • Any motor vehicle on University property must be registered with the University and display a validly issued University parking decal or permit.
  • Commuter Students are permitted to park in Lots 4, 6, the Parking Garage and Garage Auxiliary Lot.
  • Faculty/Staff are permitted to park in Lots 2, 3, 5, the Parking Garage and Garage Auxiliary
  • The parking garage is general parking. The parking garage will be closed to all vehicles and persons from midnight to 5:00 a.m. daily,
  • Visitors are permitted to park in the designated visitor parking spaces located in Parking Lot 5 in front of McTarnaghan Hall. If those parking spaces are all taken, visitors may also park in the parking garage and garage auxiliary lot.
  • Residential students are prohibited from parking in all non-housing parking lots and garages between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, during the fall or spring terms.

University Shuttle Information :

  • The University Shuttle starts at 7:15am and ends at 9:30 Monday thru Friday during the Fall and Spring terms.  Shuttles run continuously every 15 minutes from the circle at McTarnaghan Hall.
  • Route 1: McTarnaghan Hall to Laundry Building 1,2,3, and 4 through the housing complex.
  • Route 2: McTarnaghan Hall to the Arts Complex and Parking Lots 7 and 2.
