IV. University Technology Advisory Commitee (UTC)
The committee is appointed by the President to function as a cross-institutional policy level committee dealing with the use of computer, telecommunications, and distance learning technologies in support of the university mission. It is responsible for the following areas:
- Policy and practice setting and interpretation
- Funding/budgeting strategies
- Development and currency of "Strategic Plan for Technology"
- Approval and review of technology standards
The Committee is comprised with representation from all major functional departments including: Academic Affairs, Administrative Services, University Relations and Development, and is chaired by the Elected Chairman.
